Annie McClure

Annie Frances McClure age 76 of Scottsboro departed this life on Wednesday March 1, 2017 with her children around her. Mrs. McClure was born in Madison County AL on June 2, 1940 to the late Horace and Viola Smith. Ms. McClure was of the Church of God faith she dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Ms McClure preceded in death by her husband Rayford McClure and a son in law, Jr. Cornelison, 2 brothers, Horace Smith Jr. and Roy Smith of New Market AL; 1 sister, Beatrice Hillard of New Market AL. She is survived by 2 daughters, Patti (Shaylon) Miller of Scottsboro and Kathy (Brian) Martell of Austin TX; 3 sons, Anthony (Kim) McClure of Hammond IN, Danny (Pam) McClure of Whiting IN, and Steven (Emily McClure of Scottsboro; 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Glenn Smith and Billy Smith of New Market AL; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be, Bryan Cornelison, David McClure, Danny McClure Jr., Phillip Martell, Darin McClure, and Tony McClure. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Joshua McClure, Alex hall, Hunter Hall, Dylan Brown, AJ Cornelison, Corey Brown, Dakota Sword, Nate Cornelison, Zack Cornelison, Zion Finnerty, Tanner Macken, and John Martell. Ms McClure. Ms. McClure resided in Hammond IN up until her retirement. Visitation for Ms McClure will be held at the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro from 4-8 PM on Saturday March 4, 2017 and 12-8 PM on Sunday. Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday March 6, 2017 with Rev David Maples and Bro Roger Paradise officiating. Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery at Skyline AL where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Ray.
