David Carl Shavers

David Carl Shavers age 52 of Scottsboro passed away January 18 2018. He is survived by his son, Chris Shavers; daughter, Taylor Shavers; parents, Nancy and Perry Sweat; grandchildren, Ashlyn and Aiden McCurley; brother, Jimmy (Karen) Shavers; sister, Sandra Scheeler; nieces and nephews, Anna Shavers, Aaron Scheeler, Derek Scheeler, and Laurel Scheeler; great niece, Violet Mosier. He was preceded by his father, James Shavers. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 and the funeral will be 2 PM Sunday January 21 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Peters Cove Cemetery with Tom George officiating.
