Fuzzy Steele

John William “Fuzzy” Steele age 70 of Bridgeport passed away Thursday May 12. He is survived by his wife, Faye Rich Steele of Bridgeport; daughter, Kim (Ryan) Phillips of Jasper TN; son, Keith (Alesha) Steele of South Pittsburg; grandchildren, Keyle Steele, Savannah Phillips, and Trent Phillips; siblings, Sara Jackson of Renton WA; Ronnie Scissom of South Pittsburg, and Susie Belk of Jasper TN. He was preceded by his parents, Leonard and Bea Steele. Fuzzy was a Vietnam Veteran. He was retired from the Sheet Metal Local 48 of Birmingham, a member of the Bridgeport Lodge # 543, and a member of the Mt Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-9 and the funeral will be Sunday at 2 pm from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens with Josh Meyers officiating.
