Judy Ann Gass

Judith Ann “Judy” Gass age 78 formerly of Stevenson passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017 at her residence. Judy was born the youngest child of Horace and Minnie Smith of Bridgeport on October 7, 1938. She was a longtime employee of the Stevenson Drug Company, Drs. William, Paul, and Imogene Protz of Protz Chiropractic and the Stevenson Library until her retirement in 2006. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Stevenson. Judy is survived by her daughter, Angela (Chris) Guinn; son, Michael (Sonia) Gass; grandchildren, Jessica and Sarah Guinn, Taylor, Cody, and Carter Gass; sister, Carolyn Tanner; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband, Raymond Guess; parents, Horace and Minnie Smith; siblings, Vivian Mashburn, Harold “Preacher” Smith, Roland Smith, Paul Smith, Gurney Smith, and Betty Sparks. Visitation will be Saturday From 1-3 and the funeral will be 3 PM Saturday May 20 from the Valley Funeral Home in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Long Acre Cemetery with Dr. David Smith and Chris Guinn officiating.
