Margaret Wells

Margaret Dodson Wells passed away peacefully at Crestwood Medical Center, Saturday, September 19, 2015.  She was fortunate to spend her 88th  birthday at home, surrounded by her family and friends one week ago Saturday, September 12, 2015.  Margaret married Hurbert Wells at the age of 22. They got to enjoy 33 wonderful years together before his death in 1980.

She was a homemaker/farmer most of her life. She loved the outdoors, push mowing her lawn, making a garden and raising livestock  on their farm at Skyline. Her hobbies was working in her beautiful flower gardens in the summer. In the cold winter months she would rock by the fire while she crocheted and watched the game shows and news on TV.  We are very grateful to Comfort Care Hospice who provided her with excellent care and was a great support to the family during her final days.

She is survived by her only child Leslie (Sheryl) Wells, granddaughters,  Lorrie Buckner and Amanda (Barry) Purdy, and her special great grandchildren Bryneth Buckner, Briley Buckner, Olivia Purdy and Ethan Purdy.  She also had a step grandson Gregory Crick.  She is preceded in death by her late husband Hubert Leon Wells, Parent’s EE Dodson and Nancy Proctor Dodson, Brothers Earnest Dodson and Gm Dodson,  Sisters Clara Nell Dean and Lexie Guinn.  A graveside service will be held Sunday September 20 , at 1:00 p.m.at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
