Melvin Hall

Melvin Hall age 80 of Bridgeport passed away Sunday November 26. He is survived by his wife, Dorthey Hall; children, Dewayne (Penny) Hall, Tim (Stacey) Hall, and Sherry (Randy) Nelson; grandchildren, Chris Hall, Alex Hall, Bridgett Hall, Grant Hall, Jan (Jon) Teal, Jessica (Tom) VanMeter, Nicole “Tootie” Nelson and Jenny Jarnigan; great grandchild, Luke VanMeter; siblings, Wilma Hawes, Mary Shelton, Buddy Overdear, Beulah Cole, and Alvin Hall. He was preceded by his father, Alvin Woodrow Overdear; mother, Geneva (Charles Lee) Hall; siblings, June Cope, Charles “Duck” Hall, and Caroline Hall. Visitation will be Tuesday November 28 from 3-8 and the funeral will be 2 PM Wednesday November 29 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Mt Carmel Cemetery with J.B. Jones and Johnny Webb officiating.
