The Dash by Linda Ellis-- I read of a man who stood to speak At the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on her tombstone. From the beginning ,,,to the end. He noted that first came the date of her birth and spoke of the following date with tears but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time that she spent alive on earth and now only those who loved her know what that little time is worth. For it matters not how much we own, what matters is how we live and love and how we spent our dash. This is in honor and love for Ruby, who truly spent her dash well and all who knew and loved her will forever hold her in their hearts.

Oh how we are sad as our hearts will always have an empty space where you once filled. We Love you so much. You helped make us who we are today. You opened not only your home to my family but more importantly you opened your heart and ours. We became family not by blood but by Love. When we think of you it always begins & ends with a warm loving smile. I know you kingdom is now filled with beautiful flowers, children and loving people. Granny Ruby you will be missed so much and thought about often because you hold a special place in our hearts. Heaven is so blessed to have you as an Angel.

My condolences to the Thomas family: When one losses a loved one we ask, "Will they live again"? The Bible writer Job asked the same question please read, Job 14:14-15. The scriptures also assures us that God is eager to resurrect your loved one who is now sleeping in the grave. Notice another scripture, 1 Corinthians 15:26 shows that God views death as an enemy just like you do. According to Revelation 21:3-4 God will soon reverse the sting of death. That will be a beautiful time. May this be of comfort to you at this time of your loss.
