Spencer E. Dudley, age 75 of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at his home surrounded  by his family.

 His is survived by his wife of 43 years - Loretta Lands Dudley; son - Spencer Wayne Dudley, Sr., daughter - Donna Regina Dudley; a very special grandson - Spencer Wayne (Michelle) Dudley, Jr.; stepson - Anthony (Melissa) McLaughlin; granddaughters - Lori Dudley, Megan Pinegar, Denise Dudley and Tabatha Dudley; step granddaughter - Alison (Austin) McLaughlin Wright; grandsons - Corey Dudley, Austin Pinegar and Chris Alfario; step grandson - Robert (Bo) McLaughlin; great grandchildren - Zealyn, Irelyn , Greffan, Grace and Lands; sisters - Janice Fanning and Paulette GeGantate; brother - Gary Dudley.  He was preceded in death by his parents - Carl M. and Annie Lou Dudley; brother - Mickey Dudley; sister - Judy Dudley.  Mr. Dudley was a Mason and a Shriner and of the Baptist Faith.

Visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home - Scottsboro from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, May 6, 2016 .  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00am at the Hollywood Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Jacobs officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery  in Scottsboro with Masonic Rites.

The family wishes to thank AlaCare Hospice of Scottsboro for their wonderful care during this difficult time.  Flowers will be accepted or donations to Shriners Hospital for Children, c/o Cahaba Shrine Center, P.O Box 3388, Huntsville, Alabama  35810.
