Charles Edward Mershon

Charles Edward Mershon age 65 of Scottsboro passed away June 22, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mershon; son, Charles (Amanda) Mershon; daughters, Melinda (Jeff) Work, Sheila (Anthony) Kirk, and Teresa Simmons; grandchildren, Chastity Simmons, Heather Simmons, and Jared Scarberry; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Alvin (Regina) Mershon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father, Tim Mershon; mother, Melinda Mershon; brothers, Jimmy and Timmy Mershon; sisters, Judy Holt and Suzie Gamble. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-8 and the funeral will be Sunday June 24, 2018 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Cawfield Cemetery with Eddy Lynch and Anthony Kirk officiating.
