Doogie Thompson

Murphy Devere “Doogie” Thompson II, age 46 of Bridgeport passed away August 7, 2019. Doogie is survived by his parents; Murphy and Judy Thompson, his siblings; Kevin Thompson (Jennifer), Stacey and Billy White, Sandy Mashburn (Bobby), Murphy Devere Jr. (Tammi) Thompson, Gerald Thompson (Crystal), Sherry and Brad Tinker and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his brother, Murphy Devere “Biddy” Thompson III, his grandparents; Charlie and Rena Thompson, Walter Westmoreland and Doshie Hughes. Visitation will Friday August 9, 2019 from 2-8 and Saturday August 10, 2019 from 11-2, the funeral will be 2:00 PM at Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Chris Kilgore and Chad Garrett officiating.
