Gary Gothard

Gary Gothard age 68 passed away November 22, 2019. He was a 9 year army veteran and retired from Smurfit Stone after 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Graham Gothard; children, Stacy (Chris) Potts, Amy (Ped) Gothard, and Keith Gothard; grandchildren, Madison Gothard, Baylee Gothard, Seth Potts, Hayden Potts, Brody Potts, and Marlee Spurgeon; brothers, Roger Gothard and Danny (Cindy) Gothard; a host of nieces nephews, and friends. He was preceded by his parents, James “Duggan” and Ida Warren Gothard; sister, Denise (Bill) Graham; brothers, James “Skip” Gothard and Mike Gothard; grandparents, Frank and Eula Hughes Warren and Walter Berry and Mary Belle Gothard. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-8 and the funeral will be 2 PM Tuesday November 26, 2019 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
