James Benjamin Lawhorne

James Benjamin Lawhorne age 79 passed away Sunday May 14. He is survived by his wife, Arena Lawhorne; son, Tommy (Penny) Lawhorne; grandchildren, Mathew Haggard, Bailey Allison, and Chelsie Allison; great grandchildren, Baya Brophy, Cayson Hollis, Bryson Bunch, and Lynnlee Bunch; sisters, Barbara York, Caroline Chapman, and Juanita Sloan; sisters in law, Nina (Tim) Elliott and R.E. (Brenda) Jones; special family, Richard and Brooke Bunch; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, William and Pauline Lawhorne; sister, Faye Sloan; uncle, Thomas “Doodler” Lawhorne. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-2 and the funeral will be 2 PM Wednesday May 17 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Mt Carmel Cemetery with JB Jones officiating.
