Maureen Weinmann, 64, of Scottsboro, AL., passed away on October 7th, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Reeper Weinmann, sisters Betsy Nelson and Dolores Brock, all of Moulton, AL. She is survived by her daughter Rose Armstrong Keller (Allen), son Alex Armstrong, daughter Heather Armstrong Rabchuk (Brian), grandchildren Emaline Keller and Raymond Keller IV, sisters Rosemary Lewey and Lisa Steele, nephews Jim Lewey, Brad Steele, Scott Steele, niece Katy Beth Carr, as well as a host of cousins, loved ones, and friends. Ms. Weinmann was a graduate of Lawrence County High School, and held a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Jacksonville State University, as well as a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was recently retired from a twenty-five-year career in the Jackson County School system, and had previously served as Director of the ARC of St. Claire County, Alabama. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Scottsboro, AL. A viewing will be held at Valley Funeral Home in Scottsboro, from 5pm to 8 pm on Tuesday October 10, with the funeral service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on Wednesday October 11 at 11 am.
