Peggy Cobb Obituary

A Time to Be Born Ecclesiastes 3:2 Ms. Peggy Ann Cobb was born November 2, 1945, in Stevenson, Alabama to the late Clara Mae Liggins. She received her formal education in the Jackson County School System. A Time to Live Isaiah 38:16 At a very young age she received Christ as her Personal Savior and was baptized as a Christian. Her life continued in faith and service; she was a member of Center Star Missionary Baptist Church. Peggy moved to Chicago, IL and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Later in life she moved back home to Stevenson, Alabama where she was employed by the Avondale Textile Mill. A Time to Mourn Ecclesiastes 3:4 On Saturday, August 25, 2018 an angel of mercy slipped softly into her room and quietly led her spirit to her Heavenly home. Peggy is loved and cherished by her three children; two sons and a daughter: Timothy Simpson (Crystal), Robert Daniels (Deneen), Carolyn Daniels; four sisters and a brother: Gwendolyn Liggins, Sarah Laster (Marshall), William R. Liggins, Jr. (Patrice), Carolyn Joyner, and Vickie Liggins; Parents: William R. Liggins, Sr.; Grand-children: Bryan Simpson, Shelby Simpson, Amber Simpson, Ashley Owens, Timothy Simpson, Jr., Tanisha McIntosh, Treon McClendon, and four great grand-children: Zoe Knight, Zyanna Reed, Bailey Rose Simpson, and Aden Simpson. She leaves to cherish her memory a beloved cousin, who is like an aunt, Juanita Collier. She is loved by her nieces and nephews: Alan Laster, Brent Laster, Adrian Hutchins, Gerald Hutchins, Alexandra Liggins-Sejdinaj, Jessica Russell, Jamaal Liggins, and truly blessed by a host of cherished cousins and friends. We love you…rest in the loving arms of the Lord.
