Robert "Willie" Dawson

Robert William “Willie” Dawson age 78 of Bridgeport passed away April 14, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Dawson; children, Trudy (Dale) King, Linda Beardsley, Robert Eugene Dawson, and Laura (Mike) Wynne; grandchildren, Randall, Dionne, Shauna, Kayla, Sonya, Boo, Mikey, and Nick; great grandchildren, Kayci, Cade, Savannah, Charlee, Kaylin, Cali, Bentlee, Aurora, Kobe, Paige and Ryleigh; siblings, Francis (Alvin) Hall, Shirley (Ralph) Hodges, and Charles Dawson; long time friend, Roy McCanless. He was preceded by his parents, Melvin and Jennie Dawson; son, Dewayne Dawson; siblings, Thelma Martin, Johnny Dawson, and James Dawson. Visitation will be 3-8 on Monday and the funeral will be 2 PM Tuesday April 17, 2018 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Stevenson City Cemetery with Gregg Gilliam and Michael Hoover officiating.
