Sonja Cottrell

Sonja Schadow Cottrell went to be with the Lord on July 27th, 2017 in Huntsville, AL at the age of 79. She was born on October 3, 1937 in Berlin, Germany to Richard and Frieda Schadow. Ms. Cottrell immigrated to the United States in 1958 and later became a US Citizen making Maryville, TN her home. She loved God, her family, and living life to the fullest. Ms. Cottrell is survived by her brother Lothar Schadow (Annaliese); her sister, Ursula Schadow; her daughter, Regina Hodge (James); granddaughter, Erika Wells (Jermaine); and great-granddaughter, “Her Little Sweetheart”, Emma Stewart. A graveside service will take place on Sunday, July 30th at 1:00 P.M. Central Time at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Maryville, TN.
