Alfred Eugene Chubb, Jr. age 53 of Scottsboro passed away March 31, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Leigh Lance; children, Nicholas, Jourdain (Courtney) and Ashanti Chubb, and Brittany and Chad Provens; parents, Alfred, Sr. and Peggy Chubb; grandchildren, Nicholas Chubb and Delilah Chubb, Kadence and Ella Provens, and Jiakese and Addalin Provens; brothers, Chad (Sherri) Chubb and Jason Chubb; best friends, Pamela Provens, Lajarvis Provins, Jason Stewart, Kevin Jenkins, Fes Davis, John Tolliver and Keith Garth. He was preceded by his son, Karl Kevin Provens; God sister, Dora Fennell; grandparents, Robert and Ella Kelso and Jonas and Imogene Chubb. Visitation will be Thursday from 12-2 and a memorial service will be held 2 PM Thursday April 3, 2025 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro.
