Carl Andrew “Andy” Smith age 77 of Bryant, AL passed away January 8, 2024 at Parkridge Hospital. He is survived by 3 brothers, Bob (Jessie) Smith, Terry Smith, and Garry Smith; close cousin, Bernard Chapman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Smith; parents, Herman and Jeanette Smith; brother, James Smith; sister, Patricia Annette Barr; niece, Sheila Smith Greeson; nephews, William Barr III, Jeff and Jackie Smith. Visitation will be 3-8 Friday, January 12, 2024 and the funeral will be 1 PM Saturday, January 13, 2024 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson with Rev. Jimmy Hixon and Brent Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Straightway Cemetery in Bryant, AL.
