Barbara Jane Wilson age 58 passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025 leaving behind a lifetime of memories stitched together with love, laughter, and creativity. A devoted Alabama football fan, Barbara never missed a chance to cheer on the Crimson Tide. Game days were sacred, filled with passion, tradition, and plenty of “Roll Tide” spirit. Win or lose, her loyalty never wavered. Rock and roll was the soundtrack of her life. From classic anthems to guitar-driven favorites, music was always playing—bringing energy, comfort, and joy to everyone around her. A truly talented and crafty soul, she had a gift for creating beautiful things by hand. Whether crafting, decorating, or working on heartfelt projects, she poured creativity and care into everything she made. Many friends and family will forever treasure the pieces created with such love. Above all, Barbara will be remembered for her generous heart, unique spirit, and the way she made others feel welcome and appreciated. Her legacy lives on in the memories shared, the music that still plays, and the handmade treasures left behind. Barbara is survived by her Significant other, Donald Bradford; children, BJ (Amy) Steele and Brittany Steele; fur baby, Bonnie; grandchildren, Kyleigh, McKinley, and Ryker; mother, Naomi Wilson; sister, Shelby (Gregg) Gilliam; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her father, Jimmy Wilson, Sr.; brother, Glenn Wilson; sister, Renee Daugherty; grandparents, Jeff and Nora Wilson and Carl and Margie Cunningham. Visitation will be from 12-2 on Sunday December 28,2025 and a celebration of life will be at 2 PM on Sunday December 28, 2025 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro.
