Benny Jack Steele Sr., 61, of Stevenson, Alabama, was laid to rest on April 30, 2026. Benny was a hardworking logger who took great pride in an honest day’s work and the life he built with his own hands. His strength wasn’t just in what he did, but in who he was. When he wasn’t working, Benny found peace in playing his guitar, filling the air with music that reflected his quiet soul. He taught his family the value of hard work, resilience, and standing tall no matter what life brings. He leaves behind two children, Brittany Jade Steele and Benny Jack Steele Jr. (Amy); and three beloved grandchildren, Ryker Colt Steele, Kyleigh Steele, and McKinley Steele, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. His legacy of strength, love, and hard work will live on through his family for generations to come. Formal services will not be held at this time.
