Betty Oden age 81 of Scottsboro passed away April 27, 2026. She is survived by her children, Teddy (Lisa) Kowdis, John (Erin) Kowdis, Amanda (David) McGlocklin, and Jessica (Adam) Clements; grandchildren, Austin, April, Autumn, Danny, Ricky, Angie, Cassie, T.J., Kayla, Blake, Keltsey, Cheltsey, Shane, Brody, Alex, and Ellie; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; siblings, Erskin Mason, George Mason, and Sherry Mason. She was preceded by her husband, Jerry Oden; son, Frank Kowdis; siblings, Caroline Harrison, Lila Dolberry, David Mason, Jr., Ruby Mayes, and James Mason. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 and the funeral will be 12 PM Wednesday April 29, 2026 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
