Carlos Erkine Williams

Carlos Erskine Williams passed away at the age of 85. Bro. Erskine was born on June 9, 1933 in Holytree, Alabama. He and Catherine Graham were married on February 12, 1954.He serviced in US Army. He worked many years with American General as an insurance manager. He was a pastor at Keel Mt. Holiness Church for about 28 years. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Catherine Graham; daughters, Cathy (Danny) Shirley, Carol (Clint) Knight; brother, Wayne Williams; sisters, Betty, Elizabeth, and Annette of Scottsboro; 4 grandchildren, Dana, Walter, Heather, Val; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; Horace and Vicie Williams; grandchild, James Knight; great grandchild, Paxson Stubbifield. The funeral service will be held at Keel Mt. Holiness Church July 10th at 11AM and the viewing will be July 9th at 2 until 8. He will be buried at Green Valley Cemetery. Collis Sims, Rev. James Bridges, and Rev. James Carl Black will be officiating the service.
