Carol Karnes age 79 of Stevenson passed away January 30, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Edward Karnes; daughter, Sonya (Michael) Martin; favorite granddaughters, Bethany Roden, Haley (Zach) Simmons, and Kensley (Connor) Howard; grandson, Jeremy Roden; great grandchildren, Bentley and Coleman Roden and Finlee and Asher Hank Simmons; sisters, Doris (Jose) Ibarra, Glenda Blizard, and Sandra Cook; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her mother, Lucille Stallings; father, James Stallings; brother, Sammy Stallings. Visitation will be 5-8 Monday at the Mud Creek Baptist Church and the funeral will be 11 AM Tuesday February 3, 2026 at the Mud Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Bryant Cemetery.
