Cassie Jones age 41 of Pisgah, AL passed away on June 17 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Cassie was a strong, loving, and determined woman whose resilience inspired everyone around her. Throughout her illness, she faced every challenge with remarkable courage, grace and unwavering devotion to her family. Her strength and perseverance will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Brooklyn Rose; her loving mother, Tammy Pendergrass; her sisters, Krystal Brown Amy Hammonds, and Shelby Pendergrass; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Cassie was preceded in death by her father, Dwight Pendergrass. Though cancer ultimately claimed her life, it never defeated her spirit. She fought bravely for many years showing incredible strength, determination, and faith through every step of her journey. Her courage touched the hearts of many and will remain an inspiration to al who knew her. A celebration of life will be held from 3-8 on Saturday June 20, 2026 at the Valley Funeral Home in Stevenson.
