Cecil Walker

Cecil “Red” Walker age 77 of Bridgeport passed away April 1, 2024 surrounded by his family. Red retired from the Widows Creek Steam Plant. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Maynor Walker; sons, Scotty and Tracy Walker; sister, Brenda (Gary) Thomas; grandchildren, McCartney (Caleb) Evans, Tristan (Brianna) Walker, Matthew Arnold, and Jaden and Alexis Leake; great grandchildren, Tucker, Nellie, Copelin, Cal, Alaia, and Charlie; nieces, Michelle, Patty Susan, Mona, Kay, and Angela; nephews, Joseph, Mark, and Wes. He was preceded by his parents, Leonard and Catherine Walker; sister, Rose (Joe) Sparkman; brothers, Ronnie and Jerry Walker. Visitation will be 11-3 on Friday and the funeral will be 3 PM Friday April 5, 2024 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Mt Carmel Cemetery
