Charles Talkington age 65 of Scottsboro passed away May 22, 2026. He is survived by his son, Ricky (Jessica) Talkington; grandchildren, Brody and Kaliann Talkington; sisters, Christine (Von) Dulaney and Mary Ruth Yon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his daughter, Angel Talkington; parents, John and Ruthie Talkington; brothers, William, Jay, and Billy Ray Talkington. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11-1 and the funeral will be 1 PM Wednesday May 27, 2026 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Boxes Cove Cemetery with Matt Helms officiating.
