Charles Edward Bunch, 48, of Bridgeport, Alabama passed away on January 12th, 2025. Charlie was born on July 13th, 1976 to Charles and Mary Bunch. Charlie served as the Bridgeport Police Chief and served as a Staff Seargent in the United States Army, where he served two tours in Afghanistan. Charlie enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, he was always willing to help others and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his Mother Mary Bunch. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Bunch, his daughters Kelsey (Gant) Goins and Kaitlyn Bunch, two grandchildren, his father Charles (Sandy) Bunch, Grandmother Helen Bunch, stepchildren Cade and Miley Bellamy, several siblings whom he cherished, along with uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday January 18th, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Tri-State Church of God at 717 Broadway Ave in Bridgeport, Alabama with Brother Dennis Bunch Sr. officiating.
