Christopher James Mclawhorn age 45 of Scottsboro passed away January 31, 2024. Chris was a true southern gentleman who was loved by all who knew him. He was a workaholic who also loved to smoke great meats on his pitt smoker for all to enjoy. He was the “everything to everyone” guy at work. He wore many hats at work; to say the least. He thrived on helping others succeed at work and in life; never wanted any recognition for it either. All that know him, knows that he’s still not quit doing his job; he’s just moved to the higher management department. He will be extremely missed but carried by all of us in our hearts and souls. Chris is survived by his wife, Brandy Mclawhorn; mother, Cheri Jenkins; father, Jim McLawhorn. A celebration of life will be held 11-2 on Friday, February 9, 2024 from the Valley Funeral Home in Scottsboro.
