Rev. Connie Junior Sexton transitioned from his earthly walk of life on November 29, 2024 while at home in Rossville, GA. Connie was born on June 20th 1938 to the late Obie and Safronia Sexton. Connie worked many years for Harbin Motor Company in Scottsboro, AL and as a caregiver for the late Mr. Harbin until his passing. He worked for the City of Scottsboro and was a builder of pallets for a self owned company ran by the late Fred Holder from Chattanooga, TN. Last, he retired from Erlanger Hospital working in the laundry department. He attended church faithfully while living in Chattanooga until his health declined. Those who preceded him in death are his parents, Obie and Safronia Sexton; brother, Leroy Sexton and Robert (Teen) Sexton; sister, Eva (Rob) Dillard; children, Terry (Terri) Moore, Peggy Sexton, and Connie (Renai) Sexton. Those left behind to cherish his memory are wife, Bobbie Sexton; son, William Sexton; daughters, Barbara (Eddie) Scott, Loretta Sexton, Sandra Sexton, and Tabitha Sexton; a very large host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Saturday from 12-1 and the funeral service will be 1 PM Saturday December 7, 2024 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Old Baptist Cemetery in Hollywood with Randy Jacks officiating.
