Crystal Louise Tate “Louise”, 42, of Bridgeport, Alabama passed away June 6, 2022, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Crystal was born on August 7, 1979, in Stevenson, Alabama to Sandy Thompson and Milton Tate. She was preceded in death by grandmother Louise Carter of Stevenson, Alabama; grandfather Floyd Steeley; grandmother and grandfather Nanny Pearl and Haynes Milton Tate of Hollywood, Alabama. She is survived by her spouse, Bobby “Buster” McComb of Bridgeport, Alabama; her mom, Sandy Thompson of Bridgeport, Alabama; father Milton (Sherri) Tate of Dalton, Georgia; her daughters Sandra (Josh) Joslin of Cleveland, Tennessee, Krista (Zach) Dennison of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, and Hallie (Donjea) Tate of Stevenson, Alabama; her granddaughter Kamarii Hutchins and grandson Kacyn Hutchins; her sister Carolyn Thompson; her brother Keith (Amber) Tate; her sister by choice Janice Bolton; and a host of aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins, and friends. Crystal grew up in Dalton, Georgia where she graduated from Northwest High School in 1997. She moved to Bridgeport in 2004, where she was active in the community, especially when it came to her girls and softball. The family will have visitation on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm for extended family and friends at Valley Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 PM. Pallbearers are Keith Tate, Colby Steeley, Gerald Bynum, Terry Ballard, Ryan Steeley, and Peanut Steeley.
