Daniel Orvallee Lewis age 71 of New Hope, TN passed away Wednesday April 22, 2026. Daniel was an Army veteran and a member of the Tennessee Valley Camero Charter. He was preceded by his wife, Jean Layne Lewis; parents, William Orvallee and Flora Ailene Lewis; grandparents, Robert and Pearl Lewis and John and Paralee Kennemore. He is survived by his son, Wayne (Sheena) McNeece; grandchildren, Austin and Trey McNeece of Stevenson; siblings, Thomas (Jacquelene) Lewis of Clearwater, FL, John Robert Lewis of South Pittsburg, TN, Brenda (Marvin) Mathews of Kimball, TN, Shirley (Greg) Potts of Donnella, FL, and Treva (Ronnie) Brown of New Hope, TN; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
