Dan Robert Vaugh, Jr. “Danny” age 77 of Bridgeport passed away June 16, 2025. Danny was a US Army Veteran serving from 1968-1970 and served in Vietnam then Ft. Dix, New Jersey where he trained new recruits. He retired from TVA Widows Creek Steam Plant. He was survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Long Vaughn; daughter, Amanda Vaughn; grandchildren, Brendan, Alex, and Jayden Massey; brothers, Leonard (Susan) Vaughn and Chris (Christina) Vaughn; several nieces and nephews; special friends to the family, Maury Connor, Eric Lemanski, Kenzie Lemanski, and all veterans and nurses. He was preceded by his parents, Dan Robert Sr. and Billie Louise Vaughn; brothers, Vernon and Eddie Vaughn. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 and the funeral will be 2 PM Friday June 20, 2025 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Josh Meyers and John Frasier officiating.
