Donald Wayne Brantley Obituary

Mr. Donald Wayne Brantley of Scottsboro formerly of Winchester Tennessee passed to his heavenly home on August 4th surrounded by his loving family. Don loved to fix and build things, always doing projects and staying busy. In his retirement years he loved being a snowbird and camping with his wife and the many friends they made over the years. He had a long and beautiful life. He was a great book of knowledge, always helping others when he could be of assistance. We suspect he's already busy with something in Heaven. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Brantley is survived by his wife Janis Brantley of 38 years, sons Wayne (Regina) Brantley, Bobby (Tammy) Lynn, daughters Michele (Roy) Odom, Cheryl (Don) Cunningham, grandchildren Piper Brantley, Tia Brantley, Bree Brantley, Blake (Emily) Culpepper and miss Addie Mae, Sarah (Ryan) Schiffner, Markita Cunningham, James (Jessica) Cunningham, Nathan (Holly) Cunningham, nine great grandchildren, sisters Nancy Rice and Vicki Carlton.A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Heartlite Hospice for their care.
