Garvin Massey

Garvin Massey age 82 of Scottsboro passed away March 21, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Betty Massey; daughters, Deborah (Bobby) Rhue and Denise (Randy) Thompson; grandchildren, Nathan (Katherine) Thompson and Layne (Kelli) Thompson; great grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Faith, Andrew, Ruthie Beth, Reagan, and Ryleigh Thompson; sister, Trillis (James) Moses; sister in law, Helen Massey; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, Harless and Nora Alice Massey; brothers, Elvin and Diesel Massey. Visitation will be 2-3 on Thursday and the funeral service will be 3 PM on Thursday March 24, 2022 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery with Clay Carroll officiating.
