George Potter age 79 of Woodville passed away November 20, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Potter; son, Dennis (Beth) Potter; grandchildren, Hannah Durham, Coral (Jalen) Wesley, Braden Taylor, and Kenadi Aericko; great grandchildren, Jetzyn Wesley, Aspyn Wesley, and Coven Durham; sisters, Veda (Erby) Sanders and Pauline (Johnny) Sanders; brother, William (Clara) Potter; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, Walter and Ruby Potter; sisters, Willene (George) Dodson, Joyce (L.P.) Sanders, and Inez Potter; brothers, Walter, Jr. Potter and Albert Potter. Visitation will be 11-1 on Monday November 25, 2024 and the funeral will be 1 PM Monday November 25, 2024 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens with Brett Hougland officiating.
