George "Tobe" Samples

George “Tobe” Samples age 89 of Bridgeport passed away Sunday December 16. He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Beck Raulston Samples; son, Eddy (Janet) Samples; grandchildren, Matt (Tori) Samples and Morgan (Ben) Johnson; siblings, Betty Newton, Nancy (Jimmy) Ashley, Ken (Darlene) Samples, Joe (Betty) Samples, and Ed Samples; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, Larry and Clara Belle Samples; wife, Wanda Ruth Mathis Samples; siblings, Polly Raulston, Bobbie Allison, Miles Samples, and Sonny Samples. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 and the funeral will be 11 AM Tuesday December 18, 2018 at the Bridgeport Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Mt Carmel Cemetery with JB Jones and Danny Rader officiating.
