Gertrude Menzing

Gertrude Hawes Menzing 87 of Flatrock passed away at home surrounded by family. She loved her family and friends wholeheartedly and loved the lord unconditionally, she was also a member of the Jimmy Swagart Church. She loved her two little dogs Molly and Sassy as much as she loved her children. She was preceded in death by her husband William H Menzing, her parents Avie Gibson, Elbert Hawes, brother James E Hawes, daughter in law Anna Menzing and sister-in-law Wilma Hawes.She was survived by her sons, Joseph Menzing, and Robert Menzing; grandchildren, Christina Ladd, Libby Menzing, Jesse (Lisa) Richardson, and Blake (Kourtney) Menzing; greatgrandchildren, Joshua Richardson, Alexander Ladd, Kayden Ladd, Hunter Ladd, and Karter Menzing; brothers, Billy Hawes, Marvin (Paulette) Hawes and sister in law Wanda Hawes and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Monday May 11, 2026 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson.
