Herschel Dash Smith

Herschel “Dash” Smith age 92 of Bridgeport passed away December 7, 2023. Dash was a devoted Christian and a devoted Alabama fan. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Gothard Smith; 4 daughters; 2 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; many friends and loved ones. Visitation will be Monday from 10-2 and a graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday December 11, 2023. Burial will be in the Mt Carmel Cemetery.
