Jackie Sue Rector

Jackie Rector age 69 of Scottsboro passed away March 27, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Joe Rector; sons, Terry (Dorothy) Brown, Jody Rector, and Vernon Whittaker; grandchildren, Jessica, Hunter, and Cameron Brown, Miley and Gabbie Rector, and Braxton Burgess; friend, Chris Manning; brothers, Richard, James, Elvis, and Charlie Brown; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, W.D and Alice Irene Brown; brother, Alan Brown; father and mother in law, Dudley and Virgie Rector. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 and the funeral will be 2 PM Friday March 29, 2024 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Brown-Rector Cemetery in Scottsboro with Jr. Summerford and Bill Summerford officiating.
