James Leonard Dillard passed away March 9, 2020. He is survived by his son, Frankie Dillard; daughter, Alexia (Keith) Alagarin; grandchildren, Frankie Dillard Jr., Kaprina Scott, Aakash Dangol, and Besaal Dangol; great grandchildren, Marquez Scott, and Aviona Hargrove; brother, Handy Dillard; sisters, Mary Bibbs, Hellen Cross, and Nancy Walker; favorite niece, Evelyn; favorite nephew, Handy; friends, Amy Womack, Clarence Hampton, Ronnie Willington, James Jenkins, James “Booty Jack” Walker Jr. He was preceded by his parents, John Handy and Irene Dillard; siblings, Homer, Paul, George, John Handy “Joe” Jr., Donal, and Charlee Dillard. Visitation will be Friday from 1-2 and the funeral service will be 2 PM Friday March 13, 2020 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro.
