James Mason

James Mason age 61 of Pisgah passed away May 14, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Mason; daughter, Julia (Zachary) Roberts; son, Jeremiah Mason; step sons, Joseph and Kody Knight; granddaughters, Karen Mason, Mariann Justice, Ila Justice, Oakley Roberts, and Machenna Knight; brother, Benny Mason; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, George and Grace Mason; sisters, Betty Sartin and Joan Willmon; brothers, John, Marion, and Gary Mason. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 and the funeral will be 12 PM Tuesday May 19, 2026 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Middleton Cemetery with Pete Hess officiating.
