Jamie McCrary

Jamie McCrary age 55 of Stevenson passed away August 22, 2021. Jamie was a life long resident of Stevenson and a 1984 graduate of Stevenson High School. He worked at Shaw Industry for over 30 years. He loved his Volkswagon Rail, horses, braiding of all kinds and was an avid Alabama fan. He is survived by his wife, Karen Hoosier; daughters, Cortney Lynne (Stacy) Phillips and Cheyanne (Chris Kern) McCrary; step son, Chris Hoosier; parents, Jim and Brenda McCrary; grandchildren, Hayden McCrary, Abi Phillips, and Braylen Phillips; great grandchild, Elijah Shaun Adams; sister, Machelle McCrary; brother in law, Kent Knight; nephew, Matthew and Rachael McCrary; great nephew, Gunner McCrary; several cousins and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12-5 and the funeral will be 5 PM Wednesday August 25, 2021 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Long Acre Cemetery with Jerry Roberts officiating.
