We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Jason K. Hensley (December 6, 1976 – May 24, 2026) at the age of 49. Jason brought joy, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a devoted father, proud Pappy, beloved brother, and loyal friend who will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Letha Jean Morris; brothers, Jeffrey Hensley and John Hensley; and sisters, Heather Berry and Gwenda Hensley. He is survived by his children: Katja (Dakotah) Morgan, Jason Ledbetter, Seth Lamb, and Hannah (Alex Clark) Murphy. Jason also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Elizabeth Wiley, Alaina Morgan, Jackson Ledbetter, Joseph Clark, and Juriah Clark. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas (Kimberly) Berry; nieces Kristin Brownfield and Alexis (Phillip) Ward; nephew Jeffrey Hensley; brother-in-law Tommy Tubbs; and his brothers by choice, Randall Batey and wife Christian, and Kevin Batey. Jason also had many grandchildren he claimed as his own and adored immensely. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the memories, laughter, and love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
