Jean Mason

Mrs. Betty Jean Mason, age 65, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Highlands Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Jimmy D. Mason Sr., Son Lee(Nicole) Mason of Fackler and Ken(Brandy) Willeford of Larkinsville. Grandchildren Destany(Hunter) Sims, Trent Mason, Lexi Mason, Aubreigh Mason and Abbigail Mason. Great grandchildren: Lola, Maci and Vanna Sims. Sisters: Mae Guess and Ann Ashley Brother: Jackie Lee Wilson Long-time friends of the family and Adopted Son and Troy(Amy) Williams and grandchildren Brittany and Brian Williams and special neighbors Blair, Carter and Aubree Knopps. A host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Edith Wilson, Son Jimmy D. Mason Jr., Sister Janet Wilson and Jane McCrary, Nephews Johnny Guess and Matthew Lamb, Nieces Rebecca McCrary and Teresa Wilson, Brother in law Ralph Guess, Brother Jimmy Wilson and special family friend and neighbor Dustin Knopps. Jean was a very loved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be greatly missed but we know she is now living pain free and with her loved ones in heaven. Visitation will be Friday September 17th from 4-8 at Valley Funeral Home in Scottsboro Funeral Saturday September 18th at 11 am. Burial will follow after at Skyline Cemetery In Lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
