Jeannette Stubblefield

Jeannette Stubblefield, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2024, at 10:55 AM, surrounded by her loving family. Born in 1931 to Myrtle and Jim Evans, Jeannette lived a long and fulfilling life marked by her deep love for her family. Jeannette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She found joy in life's simple pleasures: cooking delicious meals, tending to her garden, and cherishing precious moments with her loved ones. Her warm presence and unwavering support were a source of comfort and strength for all who knew her. Jeannette is survived by her children, Steve Stubblefield (wife Libby), Linda Stubblefield, Jerry Stubblefield, Pete Stubblefield, and Kathy Raulston; her brother Bayne Evans; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband AJ Stubblefield, daughter Janice Shirley (Wilburn), siblings Flora Mae Haswell, Erskine Evans, Tom Frank Evans, Claude Ellis Evans, Jim Evans, and Alvie Evans, grandson Ronnie Raulston and her son-in-laws Ronald Raulston and Joseph Walker. Her kind spirit and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Visitation will be 4-8 on Monday and the funeral will be 2 PM Tuesday April 2, 2024 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson. Burial will be in the Cumberland Cemetery with Brandon Evans officiating.
