Jerry Glenn Long passed away on May 4, 2025, in Sequatchie, Tennessee, at the age of 70. Born on February 21, 1955, in Tampa, Florida, Glenn's life was deeply rooted in a love for the outdoors and a strong connection to family. Glenn loved wild hog hunting and casting a line into the water to catch the big one. He loved the outdoors. But these were more than hobbies for him. This love was handed down to him from his father, Jerry. This was his life. Glenn was also an avid movie buff. This he shared with his wife, Robin and his sons, Jerry Glenn and Jamie, many times with popcorn in hand. Glenn made his belief in Jesus Christ to his friends and family known and ensured them that his heart was ready to meet God. Glenn is survived by his wife , Robin Long. Sons - Jerry Glenn Long (Amanda)& James Edward Long. Grandchildren - Hunter Long(Paige), Shala Long, Davis Pendergrass & Jerilynn Long. Great-grandchildren - Emmy and Addie. Mother - Edna Regina Parris Stevens. Sister - Kathy Reiss (David). Brothers - Claude "C.L." Long, Sammy Dwain Long (Margie) & Jerry Edward Long (Shonda). Lifelong friend like a brother - Johnny Baker (Leeann). Also numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by his Father, Jerry Long. Brother, Michael Richard Long. Grandparents Claude and Katie Haswell Long and John T. Parris and Viola Anthony Webb. Glenn's Celebration of Life will be held at Glenn's & Robin's home in Sequatchie, Tn. on May 17, 2025 3pm CT.
