Jessie Howard Goff Jr. born November 19, 1953 passed away at his home in Bridgeport AL July 18, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Daisy Stewart Goff; daughter Leslie Goff; granddaughter, Charley Smith; family, Nikki Colvin (Bubba Newsom), Michelle Jake Dawson, Blakelee Colvin, Tygan Colvin, Liam Newsom, Zoey Dawson and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Goffl; father, Jessie Howard Goff; sisters, Opal Talley, Imagine Kirk, and Bea Castle; brother Sydney Goff; son James Goff. Jessie enjoyed sitting on his porch drinking coffee and talking to his family and friends, he also enjoyed driving his transfer for Bobby Fryer trucking. Above all, Jessie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the memories he gave us and in knowing his legacy will live on through those who loved him forever. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday July 23, 2026 from 10-5 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Stevenson.
