John William Goforth age 59 of Stevenson passed away December 2, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia Goforth of Stevenson; daughters, Jessica Goforth of Stevenson and Elaine (Nathan) Kirk of Gallatin TN; grandchildren, Courtney (Thomas) Chambers of Aurora CO, Andrew (Kaitlin) Kirk of Hendersonville TN, and KJ Smith of Stevenson; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brothers Gary and David Goforth of OK. He was preceded by his parents, James W. and Ruby Lucille Goforth; sisters, Mary Williams, Barbara Jean Goforth, and Gail Bryan; brothers, Jimmy and Wayne Goforth. Visitation will be Saturday from 4-8 and Sunday from 12:30 to 2:20 and the funeral will be 2:30 Sunday. Burial will be in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
