Joy Batey

Joy Batey age 68 of Hollywood passed away March 24, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Bill Batey; daughter, Amanda Oconnor; step children, Wade (Leslie) Batey and Wendy Batey; grandchildren, Blake, Brody, and Braden Williams, Brendan Oconnor, Blake and Dillon McRory, Cole, Austin, and Elijah Freeman; great granddaughter, Blakely Williams; brother, Michael Holtzclaw; daughter in law, Ashly Williams; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, Homer and Dorothy Holtzclaw; son, Josh Williams; brother, Alan Holtzclaw. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 and the funeral will be 1 PM Tuesday March 28, 2023 from the Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro. Burial will be in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
