Julie Ann Hancock, 52, of Section, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on March 15, 2025. She was a loving mother, daughter and glamma. She is survived by her parents, Paul and Virginia Hancock; daughter, Samantha (Derek) Murphy; sons, Chris (Samira) Manning and Tyler Hancock; brothers, David Hancock and Ben Hancock; grandchildren, Cason, Adelynn and Aria Murphy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Oscar and Verona Hancock, Douglas and Eloise Saint; brother, Joseph Hancock. Funeral services will be held at Valley Funeral Home in Scottsboro on Monday March 17, 2025. Visitation will be from 11-2 PM with the funeral following after at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Skyline Cemetery with Bro. David Davis officiating.
